Thank you for your insights! I am switching back and forth between the Maestro and the Sage Oracle Touch. I am aware that the Oracle in theory is the superior machine. However, from all the horror stories I've read online about Oracles dying every half a year or sth., then being replaced 3-4x within warranty, to then eventually die right after warranty with repair costs and service quality being horrible, I cannot really consider the Oracle a proper option. Do you have any further insights or experiences with the Oracle touch regarding longevity?

anyone can answer the below for me I got this model. a. I cant get crema in espresso. I am doing single shot as I am making for myself. Grind setting tried was 5 and 3 with doze level 15 b. I cant make a foamy cappucino out of it. Texture is same as tea.

Just got my machine and when grinding using 30 with A grind setting of 2 the portafiller was full to the top With my previous Dedica machine I found an 11 second grind was adequate for a double shot. Guess I have to play around starting at say grind size 4 with a time of 15 seconds and see how that turns out. My first espresso was on the bitter side so not sure why that was. Love the video and my new machine

The Breville Pro, Touch, Express Impress and Touch Impress have always run at 9 bars of pressure. The Express used to have a 12-bar overpressure valve, but it was updated to the standard 9-bar one somewhere in the 2010s. So your information is most likely incorrect. Additionally, pre-infusion is available on all three machines, not just the Specialista.

we have the same machine. everything works except for the temperature in middle. it doesnt move even when extracting the espresso. how do i deal w this? thank u so much

This thing makes you WORK for your coffee. Every day there’s always a red flashing light that more times than not isn’t justified. It’s a lot of overkill for really good coffee.

I am worried about the material is everything plastic inside? Chemicals not only BPA but the other harsh cancer causing chemicals that are usually leaked out into your milk and into your drink when heated when the plastic is heated is the milk double walled meaning glass? I am concerned about toxicity. Can you answer all of my questions please

This is a mashine for those who want to spend a lot of money thinking it can prepare good coffee. Unfortunately, it cannot. Delonghi ECP makes even better drinks for much lover price. For good coffee you need a good micrometric grinder and temperature stability.

Makes a great cup of coffee, but the machine is so poorly designed internally that ours only lasted 5 months. Take a look at all the reviews online and you'll see my situation is not unique. Warranty policy requires you send it back and they "fix it" and then send it back ... this is 6 week process ... there is NO option to get an immediate replacement and credit back when they receive the broken unit. The problem is internally the grinds make a mess!! The grinds clog and block sensors and arms and even the compression unit piston. The compression piston scraper is small arm that just swipes grinds to the side that sometimes hits the tray that holds them and sometimes not so grinds go everywhere internally. Perform monthly cleaning with the special cleaning fluid you have to buy for this machine does NOTHING, doesn't help solve any issues. DO NOT buy this machine unless you like to pull it apart (completely disassemble) every month and clean it and blow it out with compressed air (only way to clean it is with compressed air). It's clearly apprentice grade engineering with zero thought about longevity.

I didn't have a good experience with this machine. It is good for espressos, but it lets too much dust and oils pass through. good coffee tastes teally bitter as a result in all other settings. I just returned mine.

this coffee machine simply does not make foam. I have had several other coffee machines, but this one is by far the weakest. I do not recommend it to anyone.

The video is cca 2 years old. Is there a newer version of Maestro? Would you eventually suggest Breville (Sage) Touch Impress instead? Breville Oracle is almost 2 times the price of Maestro here. Thanks a lot .....

I think you use too much water, I mean it seems an espresso you drink everywhere but in Italy. Besides, too many maneuvers. Everything should be simpler and quicker
